Hail to Pitt! Those tunnels are too modern to be in Pittburgh though.

It is Malaysia. A longer version of this commercial actually mentions Malaysia in the voiceover. I've seen it on TV and never noticed the t-shirt before.

Are they paying homage to Pittsburgh due to the new shell cracker plant being built in Beaver County? Makes one wonder.

Not really. If you look at the original dates of the posts, you'll find the first one in this thread was some months before it was even announced they were looking at local sites to locate a cracker plant.
