Since the first thread was closed due to off-topic biases, let's try again, starting with today's article in the P-G.

Thanks, I see groar also started a thread on this - maybe they'll combine/delete so we can focus the conversation in one thread.

I posted here because he posted his thread first. From today's article we have confirmation that it was the driver who stabbed Albright. Earlier there was some confusion about whether it was a passenger or the driver. Since it was the driver, it's possible there weren't any passengers - so that avenue for getting a first-hand eyewitness would be closed.

Just saw channel 11 news and they showed surveillance tape of the attacker trotting up the stairs and back down again after the attack. Totally creepy how casual he seems! They also had an interview with Albright. They didn't show his face but did show his cut up head. You can tell from his neck and arms that he's a skinny guy - not especially threatening or able to defend himself.

They also had a clip about the Highland Park cyclist hit-and-run that put that Dr in the hospital (still there). I believe they said McKlosky (sp?) is going to plead guilty instead of fighting the charges.

Just because someone isn't large in size doesn't mean they can't defend themselves.

Now that was an astonishingly useful article. "Police released a sketch but we don't feel like showing it to you. And the driver was driving a small sedan, possibly a 2002 Mercury Cougar -- which resembles a sedan about as much as Mayor Ravenstahl resembles a grown-up."

Drover, there's a link to the sketch embedded in the article. It's the same picture groar posted here for us.

Yeah, yeah - point taken PghWA - that was my lazy way of referencing reports from people who know Albright that say he's a pacifist and not likely to fight back. Now I've gotta go rest my poor, overworked fingertips after typing all that
