After reading a couple threads on the forum and feeling out of place at most of places I visited in S South last night ... I am looking for alternative night spots and/or social venues. I am now at a point in my life , where I hope to find a nice date that could lead into a relationship or just have an nice night out..

I am in a similar boat. I have found meetup.com to be helpful in doing things and meeting friends. There are several good groups, I will post a link to the 20's Social Group....

Try being 59 and still wanting to dance (ok, occasionally). And I don't mean ballroom dancing. Alone, I just go out and dance with the kids, they don't mind...of course I never meet anyone my age or even close...It is sad...
