Is there such a thing? I`m taking the train to NYC next month and I`m having a hard time getting an answer to this question.

In the garage across the street, which also houses the bus station. $13/day, $5 Sat/Sun.

If you want longer-term, maybe one of the strip district parking lots would be a cheaper bet... Either that or find a safe side-street in the strip that doesn't have street cleaning restrictions. I'm not even sure if those exist, though.

Assuming that the $13 is for 24 hrs. That`s not outrageous if you consider what you`d pay in other cities. Most NYC garages are over $30.I have a few weeks before my trip so I can poke around a bit.Thank you for your help.

Take a cab or have a friend drop you off. I would NEVER leave my car parked on a side street in Pgh.

Yeah those are for 24-hour periods. If the stay is over the weekend then you should get credit for two $5 days, and then however many $13 weekdays.

Still, yeah, it wouldn't be a bad idea to look for a way not to leave your car there. And I really don't think it would be a good idea to leave it on any street or a surface lot. The surface lots just empty out too much. The garage is accessible to anyone but I've never had a problem in downtown garages.

I'd guess it wouldn't matter, amtrak doesn't have an exchange fee I don't think, you might even be able to just hop on at greensburg without changing your tickets if that's what you want to do.
