I can only find a handful of reviews online. Perhaps in this thread folks can suggest their favorites?

I've never been to one, so I'm looking for some suggestions.

I like St. Theresa's of Avila in Ross Township on Rt 19N. The fish looks hand battered and the sides are really good, fresh cut fries and home made mac n cheese. Home made deserts and they even have a couple of kegs on tap. They can't sell the beer because of PA laws regarding liquor licenses so they ask for any donations/tips. Can't wait!

In Mt Lebo, St Bernard is the most popular, but IMO, St Winifred has better food.

Epiphany? Epiphany Catholic Church Friday Fish Fry My co-workers get fish there all year, the only problem is that by the time they bring them back, they are a bit soggy.
Here is their regular year-round menu: http://epiphanychurch.net/index_file...Fry%20Menu.pdf

I found this year's map:

My co-workers brought back fish sandwiches from St Maximilian Kolbe in Homestead: https://www.facebook.com/StMaxParish

The fish was tender and moist, though the batter was soggy by the time they came back, oh well. The cole slaw was pretty good (I don't like Epiphany's). My one co-worker had the shrimp, she said it was good and the shrimp were big.

The Serbian Club on Sarah St. on the South Side has an excellent fish fry.

Holy Angels over in Hays is pretty good, too if you are out that way.

Anytime I order a fish sanswich to go, I ask them to wrap the bread a fish seperately. I put it back together once I reach my destination. I cant take soggy fish n bread.

I plan to try St Philip in Crafton. I'll let you know how it is. The menu sounds good.

Article on interesting side dishes offered by churches this Lent. The Lebanese cuisine sounds great.
