Bring on the goats!

I'll let the article and pictures speak for themselves.

My daughter in Seattle was considering renting goats to get rid of unwanted vegetation. Yes, goat rental is a business there!

There's an updated story this morning. I don't understand how goats are supposed to both step so lightly that they don't disturb the soil and step heavily enough that they aerate the soil, but I haven't spent much time around goats.

Invasive vegetation, the goat

I had never heard this quote and did some googling and found this. I quite like his description of our city

Pittsburgh is undoubtedtly the cockeyedest city in the United States. Physically, it is absolutely irrational. It is the only city in the country where I can't find my way around, the only one of which I can't get a mental bird's-eye picture. I've flown over it, driven all around it, and studied maps of it, and still I hardly know one end of Pittsburgh from the other.

It's worse than irregular -- it's chaotic. People who live there can't find their way around either. One friend of mine who was born and raised there said she could drive to almost any place in the city but probably couldn't go the shortest way. Another friend had lived there six years, and all he had ever figued out was how to get from his house to downtown.

You may have a friend who lives half a mile away, but to get there you circle three miles around a mountain ridge, cross two bridges, go through a tunnel, follow a valley, skirt the edge of a cliff, and wind up at your friend's back door an hour late.

this madness has to stop, I've already put a call into the PUC to block this goat sharing until safety regulations such as expensive goat medallions can be issued making it financially infeasible to use goats for their stated purpose can be issues. this is clearly an outrage and threat to the well being of Pennsylvanians!

It's only a matter of time before one of those goats kills somebody. Do they cross reference each goat with the Federal Nanny Goat Background System? The FNG BS for short.

I know these goats probably aren't even licensed to eat in Allegheny county and I think we may need some Cowboy Monkeys (licensed of course) to supervise the operation.
