Sounds like he was threatening people with death, and then uses the term "genocide". Never heard of them, nor seen that tiny group.

They are "Black Hebrew Israelites."

The Southern Poverty Law Center classifies the more extremist members of this group as black supremacists.

Members believe that Jesus Christ is returning soon to kill or enslave white people, Jews, LGBT people, etc.

Downtown Pittsburgh has featured street preaching for many generations.

These folks are controversial, to be sure, but that goes with the territory.


I don't think true Pittsburghers mind it at all, Joseph Barker was a street preacher who was elected mayor back in the day.

I'm not a big proponent of throwing phrases around like "hate speech", but that's what this is. Would you feel the same if they were Nazis or the KKK?

Since you cannot deny them their right to free speech it's best then to completely ignore them which it seems everyone else in the video was doing

I didn't see, or hear anything remotely threatening. People saying that they do not to accept a certain lifestyle for religious reasons, is not hate speech. Now maybe they said hateful things, but not in the video that was linked.

Saying that God will punish sinners is not hate speech. You can not force people to accept something, people have free will, and the right of religious freedom.

Not accepting these people because of their lifestyle, and beliefs, is no different than them not accepting the gay community. You sir, are a hypocrite.

I agree, they have a right to religious freedom, as well as to free speech, if you don't like what they are saying, just ignore them.

I'm all for accepting the gay community, for the same reasons I'm willing to accept religious groups that I may not agree with. It's because I believe that as long as people aren't hurting others, they should be allowed to do what they want. This is especially true when they are exercising their Constitutional rights.
