Last summer I remember a woman saying she was raped during a Penguins-Capitals game in a bathroom between periods. The story made the national news and I remember seeing it on CNN I think and a feminist talking about how rare it is for a woman to file a false rape claim and that there had to be witnesses refusing to come forward, considering hundreds of men would have gone to the restroom during an intermission. I expected arrests and a big scandal. Yet...nothing. I don't remember hearing anything else about the case or the media even following up. I looked online and can't find a single update. Does anyone know what happened?

I'd write Paul Martino an email to inquire. Worst he can do is ignore it.

A lot of rape cases disappear because the victim doesn't want to get publicity. Can you blame them? Did you ever hear about that kid that followed that woman from the Wood Street Station to the south hills and raped her? It just gets forgotten about although that might be a hate crime. We will probably never know though.
