its more divisiveness - the removal, i mean. not that the landlord is acting consciously for the sake of "divisiveness". rather, that your respective side's argument is strengthened.

in the end, everyone has to pay their rent and put food on their table. i dont care if that billboard is up there, remains, or whatever. the act of removal should not affect people's worldview, or stir ire, either. hopefully.
Sweep the conversation under the rug and let's pretend that there is not a race issue in the United States. That is so 80s. It is a new day. My brother is so bold and deliberate with his spoken word. He taught me to speak the truth no matter how uncomfortable it may make white people feel. Never shy away from the uncomfortable truth.

My brother will bring his Just Another Lynching puppet show to the Kelly Strayhorn Theater this summer. It is highly controversial and narrated from a black perspective. The puppet show is very very heavy.

It must be nice to have that kind of privilege. In today's America, only certain groups are encouraged to speak uncomfortable truth. Congrats on being part of that select group.

Can’t rep this enough.

It’s gotten to the point where the more certain groups speak the less they’re taken seriously.

Certain groups? Are you referring to black people? Don't hold back. Taken seriously by who? Black people could care less about being taken seriously by white people that feel threatened by our very existence. It's not about you or your comfort level.

Nope, I’m referring to groups who get their feelings hurt over everything and continually cry about everything to the point to where they sound like the boy that cried wolf and nobody takes them serious.

Assumptions are most always interesting and most always wrong. Personally, I’m not uncomfortable by or feel threatened by anyone.

Get over yourself. It's not about you.

You should really take your own advice.
