Another heartbreaking loss that you just knew was gonna happen, even with the Pirates 3-0 lead. Somehow after losing 9 of 10 they retain first place in the division.

It was fun while it lasted. Still a long season, but hard to think this team will do any better than 80-85 wins at the very best, which would exceed expectations considering most of us were thinking low 70’s in wins.

Not THAT Carlos Santana! Though I could see Nutting signing him if the deal was right. He could at least play a great post-game concert.

You`re tying up on the north bank. Lakes have shores but rivers have banks.

if you live in pitt, you refer to that as the north shore. If you are all nautical and stuff you refer to that as the right bank descending of the allegheny river, until you get past the sub, then ohio river...

'burghers are pretty adamant about what they name stuff

I've been to two games already this year, equaling last year's total. Game time was 2:09 hours, liked it. Not as much crap going on between innings and players were definitely paying attention to the clock. Hope they can at least go 500 this year.

The rule changes over the past couple of years have been a spectacular success.
