You really should stay away from Alex Jones, LVD. You're much to malleable to be reading/listening to him.

Wow! He does apocalyptic ranting even better than I. That was right out of Revelations.

Unfortunately his claims of the oil developing separate channels in the soft cap rock is not all that far fetched. This will be even more interesting to watch than I first thought.

I don't know if this is actually the end of life as we know it, but it is for the Gulf...and I'm very pessimistic about the future.

The author is a nutcase. He sees an oil spill as a doomesday scenario. Worst case, the oil keeps spilling until it is all gone. Most of it washes up on the shore and it takes 10 years to clean everything up and for the fish populations to come back. No apoclypse here. Move along, move along.

Anyone find fault with the story because I watched a news show last night which stated very similar facts.. I note the standard respones, "attack the writer" but whats wrong with what he stated?

Yeah, I know, but it's his site, and it's (obviously) exactly the type of material he promotes. I don't know if the author is on Jones' staff or whatever, but it's still a Jones article, just as something that the L.A. Times publishes from an independent journalist is a "Times article."

I'm tellin' ya, LVD, you shouldn't be paying attention to that crackpot. I saw in another thread that your main electronic source of news is InfoWars - that scares the heck out of me (for you), because I know how easily led you are.

We have our differences, LVD, but I know that you're a good person, and I don't like to see good people led astray. Alex Jones' site is pure, unadulterated tin-foil-hat nuttery. There is nothing there of any value, unless you consider the entertainment value of what's there. If you take that stuff seriously, you're headed down the wrong path.

They won't have much choice should the relief wells not work. I've seen estimates that should the leak keep gushing at it's present rate, it could take anywhere from 3-10 years at least before this particular oil pocket is exhausted. The earth can't take that. Some hard decisions are going to have to be made.
