Good luck finding that out. They raised coercion, belligerence and stealth to an art form in 8 years, they forced people out anonymously by using a chain of command to demote and effectively end their careers, and no one was happier to play than Cheney and his good buddy Rummy
The first was Gen. Eric Shinseki who as Army Chief of Staff was cashiered after testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee that 250,000 troops would be needed to pacify Iraq.
Arguably the next was Lt. Gen Ricardo Sanchez who was Commander in Chief of the Multinational Force Iraq. I say arguably because there was never an overt act that lead to his being relieved of command and was subsequently appointed CIC of the V Corps in Germany but it was widely rumored that the scandal of Abu Ghraib led to his being relieved of duty.
Maj. Gen. George W. Weightman was relieved as commander of Walter Reed Hospital due to the scandal that came to light regarding conditions at the premier military hospital.
Brigadier General Janis Karpinski was relieved of command and demoted to colonel as a result of the Abu Ghraib scandal.
Shinseki served out his term as Army Chief of Staff and then retired. Doesn't sound like "cashiering".
You are quite correct, what I needed to point out was that while Shinseki was allowed to complete his full term, the unprecedented announcement of his successor a full year before that term was up clearly placed him in the lame duck seat at the Pentagon.

It is amazing to me that the left consider Bush to be the worst President ever, yet he is the yardstick they measure Obama by. And Obama frequently is on the short side of that comparison.

Bush isn't used as a yardstick to measure Obama, he's used as a yardstick to measure NeoConfused hypocrisy, as in behavior they found wonderful for 8 years all of sudden becoming traitorous and allegedly grounds for impeachment.
