I wouldn't agree with open giving with no council first, just open boxes of condoms in the lunch room, I'm not ok with.

I don't honestly think 7 year olds are going to be getting condoms. You realize that its legal for these kids to get them at the drug store. This isn't going to change that, and adds counselling before they get them.
Ummm. How many 7 year olds are heading on their own with their cash in hand to the drugstore to buy condoms? Give me a break. Parents can say "no" to T.V., "no" to video games and "no" to inappropriate movies. They can even say "no" to their 7 year old's request to break open their piggy bank and bicycle up to the drug store to buy those condoms. But, many parents have no option but to send their kids to public school and then they have the school offering condoms at the elementary school. And yes, the talking and giggling will filter down to the first and second graders and one will go in and ask for a "condor, or whatever it is..." and so it begins. This is nothing more than another step in an agenda to sexualize our children and eventually erode any boundaries between adult and child sex. Parents, if at all possible, get your kids out of public school. This is not an isolated case of the schools overstepping their boundaries.

Bear in mind that Provincetown, Massachusetts, where this is going down, is a longtime regional center of gay life. It's no Mayberry, and this would never have flown in most communities.

What burns me up is when asshats such as Bill Maher snicker and cluck at the concept of homeschooling.
Thank you for posting this. Please come back often!

I'd rather my children learn about proper safe sex than creationism and intelligent design-like some southern/mid western schools.

Besides the whole state freaked out on them. The governor called the superintnent and chewed him out over it. So.

None of this has anything to do with the situation. I doubt seriously a bunch of gays got together at the board meeting and decided this whole thing.

Just keep living in your tiny little world.

Bear in mind Mayberry was a fake tv town of the the 1950's. Provincetown actually exists in the here and now.

I have read your posts and I know how sympathetic you are toward Pedophiles so I don't expect you to agree with me. And, frankly, I really don't care.

Passing out of condoms to elementary school kids is wrong. Yes, I still believe in "right" and "wrong." The public schools need to get their noses out of areas that are the family's responsibility.
Where, in any of the above posts, was it ever implied that condoms are being "promoted" or "passed out", or even mentioned in any manner to children who did not first, on an individual contact, take their own initiative and indicate an interest to the school that they were in a lifestyle in which condoms would be effective?

But YOU did say that this entire issue is directly caused by criminally felonious pedophiles seizing control of the school board, and manipulating the social fabric in such a way as to maximize the number of babies that they can brutally rape.

If that is not what you meant by "Pedophiles at work breaking down the moral fabric of society", then please clarify and explain just what you did mean.

And please don't lump "pedophiles" with anyone who has an interest in fostering the sexual and emotional health of our school-age children. It just doesn't fly.

Sounds like a good way to remove the mystery of sex toys and taboos. Who wants to use a condom if the only place you can get one is in a gas station toilet or bath house.

HAHAH! Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

Massachusetts ranks 43 in teen pregnancies.

Mississippi is #5 in teen pregnancies.

Texas is #4 in the same category.

In general, New England has the lowest rates of teen pregnancies in the country.

It is the family's job to decide when and how to foster "the sexual and emotional health" of their children; not the public school, unless one is living in a socialist/communist country.

Furthermore, NO ONE should be providing condoms to a 6 or 7 year old EVEN if they did "take their own initiative and indicate an interest to the school that they were in a lifestyle in which condoms would be effective" Anyone in their right mind or of sound moral values would contact the child's parents, Police or Child Protective Services if given that information. Period. Handing out a condom to such a child would be immoral if not criminal.

Talk about progressive. First graders using condoms. I just cannot fathom a 6 year old needing unrestricted access to condoms. At 5/6 I think I still believed in the "stork" story along with Santa and the tooth fairy. Boy have times changed.

If I lived there..I'd most certainly be moving.

Sort of makes you wonder just how many pedophiles there are on the school board doesn't it?
