YouTube - Obama admin bans press from filming BP oil spill areas in the Gulf

So, if this isn't tyranny then how much further do we need to go to see real tyranny? Will we let government continue using terror attacks and disasters to impose new laws and restrict our constitutional right?

If the press is prevented from filming the fouled beaches where are all the pictures I see on the Weather Channel coming from? You know the tar balls in the beaches and the nearly or actually dead birds.

Those are dated pictures and the USCG was doing weekly escorted trips, taking the journalists to certain spots.

BP has their own hired security team that had already been trying to prevent journalists from venturing out on their own. But as the Huffpost journalist wrote..then the journalists prevailed due to the First Amendment.
It's a different ballgame now..the journalists do not have the right to do what they did before.

So what you saw was BEFORE this clampdown.

BP thinks British law a rule works here.
The sad part is, Obama and gang, think that is the future for the USA.
Look at Cass Sunstein as he leads the way in advising how to turn this nation into a totalitarian state.

I can't open you tube at work but if it's the same video I saw yesterday with the guy from CNN ...the video is suspect, as the audio and visual do not match up....looks like it's been doctored and I can not find anything on CNN's site to confirm

65 feet..you can still get decent photos with a telescopic lens

I hope people WAKE UP.

That CNN is the only one making anything about this government clamp-down on the 1st Amendment is truly disappointing. Not a single word about it on local news (outside of the Gulf) or on Rupert M's networks. Bloggers need to be all over this.

Where is the ACLU?
