The point is that neither hot nor cold weather conditions in the short-term should be used to make conclusions about the overall climate. The link I cited is about an actual study by real scientists. The ramblings of Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck about climate change should be treated as merely background noise.

Remember how just a few months ago, people like Sean Hannity were claiming that global warming was a farce because it was snowing in Washington, D.C.?
Those studies are not worth the paper they are written on. People know it is SUMMER and in the SUMMER it sometimes gets HOT. I guess everybody has forgot the RECORD COLD of last winter already. I have not because I am out in it both day and night. Last winter there were a few days when it got down to 16 DEGREES which is almost unheard of here.
If it's hot, that's proof there's global warming. If it's cold, that's proof there's climate change, which is a part of global warming. Only way to solve this- Cap and Tax.
Anti-intellectuals usually go into dormancy when weather conditions don't justify their belief system. Or, at least of their masters. No matter the heat records, if, by any chance there were record low temperatures set tomorrow, they will jump out of their mounds and rush in all directions screaming. Without realizing, that neither is providing the whole picture.
It doesn't take more than a pair of eyes, a functioning brain and a proper instrument to realize that just driving into and away from cities, where humans have the greatest influence, can demonstrate dramatic temperature variations.
Its the same with the global warmings people plus they lie. That they are not beleieved is their own fault.
God help us all... it gets hot during summer... what next... its the end of the world... run! We never had heat waves before this... run! What next? Will it be cold during winter too??? OMG!!
