The point is that neither hot nor cold weather conditions in the short-term should be used to make conclusions about the overall climate. The link I cited is about an actual study by real scientists. The ramblings of Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck about climate change should be treated as merely background noise.
A point I see made here is that your 'scientists' (who, btw, fight amongst themselves as to how to really interpret this 'science' based on models and extrapolations) are about as credible as those Hannity and Beck goonballs.
