I'm posting here because I'm a two+ decades resident of FL, and because I'm always complaining how I hate the heat. I also have received plenty of "global warming" jabs...
I'm assuming that everyone posting here has a computer. I've worked in IT (information technology) departments for nearly twenty years. If any of you have ever been inside a server-room, you know that those rooms are kept very-very chilly. That's because the electrical energy required by those servers generate an abundance of heat. If the ambient temperature is not maintained by adequate cooling, the servers will overheat and cease operating.
For those of you who have laptops, you can witness that heat each time you utilize your device. Heck, even some cell-phones get so warm, rendering the user to say, "My ear's burning, have to hang up."
I understand that we're not all scientifically-inclined; but for those who think global-warming is b.s., just walk around your home and touch your TV, your TiVo device, your monitors, and the back of your fridge. WARM. They're generating HEAT.
Climate change is normal, not man made. How many ice ages has the earth been through? At one time the earth was completely covered with water. And it was a hot fireball, much too hot for human life. The earth is constantly changing. You don't hear much from al gore these days,do you?

Out of curiosity, when was the earth completely covered with water?
