The so-called "Tea Party" isn't much more than a 21st century version of the American Party (known popularly as the "Know Nothings") which flourished for a few years in the 1840s-50s. The old expression is true: history repeats itself. These guys won't be around for very long.

I tried to tell you people.

Now after a few days have passed, NAACP = mission accomplished.
As I predicted, the blowhards in the Tea Party just couldn't keep their mouths shut - with hilarious results.
