Americans are growing more pessimistic about the economy and the war in Afghanistan, and are losing faith that Democrats have better solutions than Republicans, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

Health Care, Iraq, Afghanistan, the economy, government spending, deficit.
Surely we've heard of all the legislative success brought about by obama and the dems?
A new way to celebrate and brag about that success.
In an effort coordinated with the White House, congressional leaders are urging Democrats to focus less on bragging about what they have done — a landmark healthcare law, a sweeping overhaul of Wall Street regulation and other far-reaching policy changes — and more on efforts to fix the economy and on the perils of Republican control of Congress.
It must be because these "successes" are so very popular with the American people, right.......right?
Oh, this poll has a partisan edge of 9 points toward the democrats.
Why, that's a bigger number than what he won by in 2008. In this environment, does any sane individual think such a number is valid?
Maybe they needed that big of a chasm on party ID so prop up his approval number, but when you dig into the internals, it is bad news indeed.
