what that may mean to you doesn't mean you can just walk out of your house and marinate a cat in spices to cook him can you? that's liberty... is it justice for the cat no. it's no more justice for the mainstream populous who have to adjust to having gay lifestyles taught in public schools to children as an alternative to normal households. why do pro-gay people want to put everyone in that hot chili marinade and serve us when we know it's unjust what is going on in the court system?
There's nothign unjust with what's going on in the court system.
Unless you figure what happened with interracial marriage/desegregation of school unjust.
What's going on now is no different than the situation with interracial marriage.
Wasn't the "societal norm", and got overturned in the court system and subsequently made legal throughout the couintry.
In about 10 years, only a minority of households will have a problem with homosexual couplings, because people will actually wake up and realize there's absolutley nothing wrong with it.
This thread is NOT, I repeat, NOT about homosexuality. It's not about whether you want to denigrate the love, commitment and relationship between two human beings that squick you out, as "paraphilia". It's not about marinating cats.
It IS about Judge Walker hearing arguments to continue the temporary stay he issued in his previous decision, and deciding that under all four requirements, the proponents failed to show evidence or prove injury, so the stay was lifted.
There is nothing unjust about what's going on in the court system in this case. I'll let renowned conservative attorney, Ted Olson explain it to you as he explains it to Chris Wallace. Watch it and learn.
#1. you can slice and dice up the "interracial thing" as many ways as you want, it's still male with female.
#2. there were interracial marriages in this nation in the 1700's that's a fact it's documented.
#3. homosexuals have never been accepted in any society and with this marriage thing around different states in the USA they are still not accepted by mainstream society, no matter how they try to take the paraphilia aspect away from their lifestyle it's still abnormal.
it will take generations and a lot of brainwashing of the children to make it normal but i have a feeling it will never be.
you'll need more than luck i expect it will come in the form of brainwashing. as it has for so many years, the rainbow, the teletubbies, the sly way it comes in the form of advertising, the television shows, etc....
it always comes subliminally that way they don't see it coming.

you can't have a gay judge legislating from the bench about this subject.
and that's what has been done, he should have recused himself.
How is this legislating from the bench? Have you even read any of the transcripts?
Why should if the judge is Gay o not be a factor? Should a woman step down if the case was involving women's rights? A Hispanic step down if the case involved Hispanics, or a Black if the case involved blacks? Or someone in an interracial relationship if some challenge to the interracial marriage bans came into play?

poor gullible people.
#1 You're flat out wrong about #3 at a minimum.
#2 The Teletubbies? Seriously? You're invoking the Teletubbies in a discussion about court rulings?
#3 Poor uneducated, hateful people.
#4 Watch the Ted Olson interview. He has more knowledge about the law and conservatism in his little pinky than you could ever hope to acquire. He will school you on what this country and its constitution stand for, and even from a conservative perspective, that includes the fundamental, constitutional right of homosexuals to marry.
Except there's nothing wrong with either transgenders or crossdressers.
The only place homosexuality is considered a negative trait is the ignorant christian uber-conservative blindfold.
The rest of the world actually grew up.
In Islamic countries being gay = Stoned to death, hung, beheaded, shot etc.
That represents about 1/4th of the world's population who cannot be openly gay, or even talk about it.
India, which is 20% of the worlds population also doesnt allow gay marriage...
China which is another 20% of the world's population also doesnt allow gay marriage.
Those are all Non-Christian societies...And yet the Christian west is where gays can be free, and even marry in some areas...Yea, them Christians sure are bigoted! I guess Gays would be better off living in a Islamic republic like Saudi Arabia...Oh wait they would be stoned to death there. Guess not.

Today the Rights our founders based our liberal Republic on were upheld. The Constutition was given its chance to work the way the great minds of the 18th century intended. We are all the more lucky to call America home.
All Americans of every race, creed, orientation, gender, age, should rejoice that the rule of law, the rights the minority, the respect of the human individual were upheld.
All Americans should rejoice that our great experiement still shows the promise of a better life and the fullfillment of the dream promised to all of us, equally and undeniably.
All Americans should rejoice in that Life, Libery and Happiness are not just words, but they are a living sentiment.
John Adams and Thomas Jefferson would be so proud.
