Okay, but Bush and Cheney weren't the only ones who thought the war was necessary: all your favorites were right on board, to include the Clintons, Reid, Pelosi and probably many more. Congress does the dirty work.
*** When did we get out of Iraq?
Based on lies; Bush LIED to everyone about this.

No one is saying there wasnt faulty intelligence, but to come up with this baseless "lie" nonsense is ridiculous. Out of all of those who HATED Bush, all the media that HATED Bush, if there was evidence of this "lie" itd be out there and he'd face charges. There was no lie.
Like I said Congress voted for this. Many on both sides of the aisle thought war was the right thing to do at the time, based on the evidence THEY saw.
The continuing bs of these "lie" conspiracy theories, and putting every thing at the foot of one man when evidence clearly shows not only was the war not his sole doing but the state of the economy was not solely his fault either, is cowardly and ignorant.
But why is it I have a feeling you and others will still spew this baseless, false, garbage?
Yellow cake.
The name Plame sound familiar?
Collusion with Blair to start a war…
Great. Then now is about time for him to step up to the plate and start addressing PTSD, in time for my brothers to come home.
You might want to see the lowered requirements and implementation. It’s on line, you can look it up.

Here's to putting country above ideology Mr. President! Only if you had done it with Iraq; only if....
Im sorry, but you cant fake this. You cant fake George W. Bush's view and respect for our military. With Barry, it has the feel of a publicity stunt for photo ops. You dont get that realness feeling to it.
While I disagree with some of Bush's ideology and actions, he earned a lot of respect from me for his love for the military servicemen.
God bless George W. Bush and I have to give it to him for letting Barry do his thing and not getting involved. A president has enough fire coming from all directions usually that they dont need an ex-prez to chime in. Though Barry has only recently really started to get much heat from the media but thats a different story.
George and his wife have been very classy. I think they are wrong on some things politically, but they are classy.
Here in Texas, Dubya has long had a reputation for personal charm and humor. He's a likable guy on a personal level. And his meeting the troops was a classy act, no doubt.
But the truth of the matter is that he didn't have a personal relationship with the American public. His responsibility was to govern in the nation's best interest. In that, he performed poorly.
You might want to see the lowered requirements and implementation. It’s on line, you can look it up.
And how did he do this? I’m interested.

So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real..."

What was the mission, the media never figured it out.
If you were to get your information somewhere other than the lame stream media, you might have known.
"AP
The President said he also wished he had not used such aggressive rhetoric leading up to and during the war.
The US president told CNN that the triumphant words hoisted on the USS Abraham Lincoln on May 1, 2003 were meant to cheer up the troops "They had a sign that said 'Mission Accomplished.' It was a sign aimed at the sailors on the ship, but it conveyed a broader knowledge. To some it said, well, Bush thinks the war in Iraq is over, when I didn't think that. But nonetheless, it conveyed the wrong message," he said. "

All of the quotes listed above are substantially correct reproductions of statements made by various Democratic leaders regarding Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's acquisition or possession of weapons of mass destruction. However, some of the quotes are truncated, and context is provided for none of them - several of these quotes were offered in the course of statements that clearly indicated the speaker was decidedly against unilateral military intervention in Iraq by the U.S. Moreover, several of the quotes offered antedate the four nights of airstrikes unleashed against Iraq by U.S. and British forces during Operation Desert Fox in December 1998, after which Secretary of Defense William S. cohen and Gen. Hnery H. Shelton (chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff) announced the action had been successful in "degrad[ing] Saddam Hussein's ability to deliver chemical, biological and nuclear weapons."

"Mission accomplished" was the truth. Just because you do not understand what the mission was doesn't make it a lie.
Try educating yourself next time.

ONLY so far as Bush's job was to start a war in Iraq...and he accomplished that. But to say Mission Acomplished and then ignore all the maimings and years of death that followed is stupid, disrespectful, and definitely UNclassy.

WHAT!? You MISSED the last 8 years!!! What was THAT ...a snowball fight!

They were fed Bush administration lies and the stage was set so that anyone who disagreed was labeled Un-American, Un-Patriotic and treasonous.....even though they were right.
