There have been 2 Boomer Presidents, Clinton and GW Bush. The prior 8 were WW II veterans staring with Eisenhower.
Baby Boomers are that cohort born from 1945/6 to 1960 or so. If you do the math Boomers are just now, overall, moving their way into positions of authority in large numbers, especially those born in the period after 1955. You can't even make the claim that Boomers are bankrupting Social Security since the vast majority aren't collecting it yet. The run-up in benefits there started in the 1960s to benefit the Depression era recipients and those a bit older then.
It's funny that about once a month a thread complaining about your parents comes up. You know, the generation whose parents worked very hard to make sure their kids didn't have another agreat Depression and who then carried it forward to your generation. If Boomers made one mistake it was somehow having their kids grow up to expect everything to be handed to them. Oh yeah, my kids grew up knowing how very un-special they were so they don't expect to have things handed to them. They will be your bosses.
I never got why the peace, love, and drugs generation turned into the money, greed, and war generation.
Some of that generation did but most of us did not. Most of us didn't take drugs either, although there was a lot of experimentation with marijuana in college. The majority of us got beyond that stage and got jobs and worked hard.BTW, OP, you form the plural of Boomer by simply adding the letter "S". No apostrophe. Before your start to criticize, at least learn to spell and punctuate--or weren't you paying attention in school?
