I think he means that SHarptons rich white followers are just following the headlines to laugh at him. The guy makes the black community look ridiculous and holds them back.
And how does he hold black people back, or make them look ridiculous?
Because he is black and does something it goes against all other blacks? Well, since every race has people that does something stupid in the media, then I guess every race looks ridiculous and gets held back.
Maybe that is the problem, we need to get rid of all media so no one can make their entire race look ridiculous and hold them back.
I'm eager to here the evidence assembled against Mr. Rangel.
I don't care what ethnicity or race a politician is. If he found to be corrupt he needs to be tried and convicted. The crime itself is bad enough but there should be additional penalties for violating the public trust.
Agreed. I think any elected representative caught with his/her hand in the cookie jar of unethical behavior should lose their retirement/health benefits guaranteed to them upon leaving Congress.
Congress men and women need to be held to real accountability rather than a slap on the wrists and a cushy position with lobbying firms.
Should a black leader like Sharpton defend a basket of corruption?
i dont know some white guys defend baskets of corruption all the time even pardon them
all these full fledge attacks against this guy now something stank really bad.
if he did violate he should in fact man up.

Accountability?? I would be shocked if 20% of Government workers have the ability to recite the definition!
