Ya mean , like it did when Bush was in office? The economy was tanking then and it's still tanking and you think that extending the tax breaks that DIDN'T WORK will jump start the economy????
Oh sorry. I didn't realize this current recession has been going on since 2001.

My bad.

Rather sickening in here that RIGHTIES seem almost angry that Obama has stopped major combat...THEY MUST LOVE SEEING OUR TROOPS MAIMED AND KILLED...that is the ONLY explanation.
I'm still waiting to view the candy and flower throwing videos not to mention all of that Iraqi oil that was going to pay for the war.

If our glorious troops had defeated any "enemy" why weren't they brought home 5-6 years ago. There was no real need to stay once Saddam has given his Kangaroo Court and killed.

You might want to rethink that statement. Democrats have a long history of starting wars.

World War I - Woodrow Wilson - Democrat 320,518 US Soldiers killed and wounded.
World War II - FDR - Democrat 1,076,245 US Soldiers killed and wounded
Korean War - Truman - Democrat 128.650 US Soldiers killed and wounded
Bay of Pigs - Kennedy - Democrat 4 US Soldiers killed and wounded
Vietnam War - LBJ - Democrat 211,454 US Soldiers killed and wounded
Grenada - Reagan - Republican 119 US Soldiers wounded
Persian Gulf War - Bush - Republican 1231 US Soldiers killed and wounded
Bosnia and Herzegovina - Clinton - Democrat 6 US Soldiers wounded
War on Terror - Bush - Republican Still ongoing

The warmongering Republicans liberals love to whine about have a long way to go to come anywhere close to the number of conflicts, dead, and wounded started by peace loving Democrats.

I wonder what liberals would use for talking points if they were restricted to truthful talking points only rather than emotional rhetoric based in everything other than truth.

Do you recall the reasons for all this trouble? Short-term memory can be a wonderful thing sometimes

THIS topic is the IRAQ war and not one repug has expressed thankfullness or happiness that the blood shed will end......they ENJOY IT, THEY wanted it...they seem so disappointed that Obama is ending it...DISAPPOINTED....that is NOT negated or changed by anything else that happened in history...

Wrong the Bush tax cuts did create a lot of jobs and boost an economy. It just wasn't the USA. We need the Bush Tax cuts and we need to rename them "China Stimulus and Investment Act". Americas rich bastards know where to get the best return on investment and is isn't in the United States of America.
George Bush was one of the best Presidents the People's Republic of China ever had.
