'She's an ambitious, ego-driven woman with charisma'. (Replace 'woman' with 'man' and who does that describe?) I left out the 'mediocre IQ' since I've not seen reliable info.

She's also the single-most vilified, smeared female politician in history...and she's still standing. With a voice that's stronger than ever. With influence that can't be denied. If nothing else, I give her credit for having the fortitude and backbone to stand up, take it..and come out smiling.
I give Palin credit for being a political shark - no more, no less - small brain, HUGE survival instincts.

AUM, there are very few people on this board who love Palin. There are very few threads on CD extolling her virtues.
There are, however plenty of people who simply respond to attacks on her. Not because of political ideology but because there is no rational basis for the attacks.
When it comes to Sarah Palin, you people become profoundly stupid and completely classless.

I cannot believe that anyone in America gives her any credibility. Obviously she was the Republicans answer to glamorizing the near-dead McCain option. A bit of T&A is always good for votes with the tavern guys. After all, they're who voted for the last regime, right?

God, I hate to think THINKING people were/are taken in by her or Bush.

JUNEAU, Alaska — When Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin sought to illustrate her frugality and flair to delegates at the GOP convention Wednesday, she described how she disposed of a corporate jet acquired by her unpopular predecessor.

"That luxury jet was over the top," Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee, said to loud cheers. "I put it on eBay."

Palin's statement implied the plane was sold through the online auction site revered for empowering millions of small entrepreneurs, and Palin's spokeswoman insisted Thursday that the transaction occurred. But the plane failed to sell on eBay.

Oh the blatany hypocrisy!

I do not give a flying crap what Palin spends her undeserved wealth on, but her claims of being just an average mom and part of the down home American types ("just 'an average hockey mom"), one is lead to believe that leaving a tip would show some empathy and respect for a working class American. She is so FOS that I can smell it all the way here in NYC.
Have you even heard the word "sarcasm"? or do you even relax and take things in a light vain? How would I know where you friends work or if they do and why would I care? I was simply pointing out none of this garbage, written by someone who will not tell sources and published in a magazine that is more gossip than facts and honest information isn't worth reading. I don't care about her personal habits, nor should anyone else. I do care about our leaders views on world affairs, social issues, knowledge of our country's history and I care about how our leaders would handle issues.

It will never cease to amaze me why libs are so fascinated with this woman and don't say you are not. If you were not you would drop this crap. Palin would vanish back to Alaska, if the libs were leave her alone. Or, if she didn't, she would be nothing more tnan an entertainer. Instead you choose to keep her on the front line.

As for empathy and respect for the working class, do you think your hero has this? Get real!!!!!

Throw in a few "fellow patriots" and "ya knows" in there, and the low IQ section of America will just eat that all up. Who can blame her, really? It's a unique and useful talent. Gotta get that cash!

Meanwhile, her dysfunctional, low-achieving daughter and former irresponsible boyfriend have studied the business model well and are now on their way to becoming vapid reality TV celebrities themselves...living the American dream just like Momma Palin taught them.
I don't think we will see much of the boyfriend (oh bty he has a name) in the future. He is basking in his glory, it will not last unless being a porn star is what he is after. As for Bristol, low-achieving, I don't think being paid $15,000 a speak is low achieving. She too will fade.

No she wouldn't vanish back to Alaska without the Democrats criticism. As long as Republicans are giving her the big bucks for speaking engagements and they treat her like a rock star, then what she says and does has political implications that can't be ignored by the Left.

"Oh my God, she's a bad tipper! See how evil!" No one said she's evil because of her lack of tipping. That isn't evil. It's just a lack of grace and class.

"She has a temper! I knew there was something wrong with her" There is a difference between a temper, and an eratic temper. Are you saying you would support someone who flys off at service people, empties her cabinet of canned vegetables by throwing them at her husband (LOL, sort of reminds me of the TV show, Earl) and people who are there to help her as a good candidate to lead a country with nuclear warheads?

'She's an ambitious, ego-driven woman with charisma'. (Replace 'woman' with 'man' and who does that describe?) I left out the 'mediocre IQ' since I've not seen reliable info. I think no one has a problem with that. It's her vengeful attacks on anyone who dares cross her where the problem enters. Oh, and her contant whining and playing the victim. Oh, and her lies. Moose chili, anyone?

I can't argue with your last paragraph. What was once said about Cher? "She's like a roach. The world could be destroyed and she'll still be here." I think it applies to Sarah, too....Like a roach.

This isn't about President Obama. This is about Sarah Palin.

The same lack of grace and class displayed by meager charitable donations (less than 2%) until you're in the spotlight.

Unconfirmed anecdotal happenings, Do we have examples of policies/leadership abilities that have been enacted or affected by her temper?

Vengeful attacks, playing victim. Fox News anyone?

Too many similarities to ignore. Just saying.
