Yes, I'm a "bigot" because I believe in free speech and holding EVERYONE up to teh same standards. Do you ever tire of calling everyone who doesn't share your opinion, a bigot?

If you really are for free speech, then why do you keep telling everyone that doesnt agree with you to be quiet?

I find it interesting that some of the people who vehemently protest the Mosque at Ground Zero being built even though it is an expression of Freedom of Religion also think this Pastor should disregard diplomacy, common courtesy, and the possibility of causing violence to be directed at our troops just to express his freedom of religion.

Both are legally fine (well, with the exception of not being able to burn books as a city ordinance of Gainesville) and an expression of a constitutionally protected freedom. However, both are in bad taste.

No but your reply to my post gave me reasonable cause to ask the question.

It's close enough to Ground Zero. It's a huge proposal, supposed to hold thousands of people for prayers. Is it not causing division like the koran burning is?

Oh wait, they have darling status, so that explains your double standard.

My question for libs is which darling will they take sides with. Say if there are more muslim on gay hate crimes? Which darlingw ill you side with?

And again, since when are individual rights for us determined by democracy (mob rules)? Our bill of rights protects the minority from the will of the majority. It applies to you, to me, and those that we don't agree with. And let us not mix words "at ground zero" is not the same as "too close to ground zero". What is too close?, blocks away?, a mile away?. For some it really means not alllowing it anywhere at all.

Screw the tinfoil, beach attire or lack of it sounds better. This Saturday I plan on forgetting all the BS and let these people scream at each other while I take your advice and think of something fun to do.

Thanks.
We want to get rid of the terrorists there. We have to do that by providing stability to the nation. In order to do this it helps if we aren't seen as antagonists to their religion.

Even if you don't care about the stability of Afghanistan, stability there reduces terrorism threats to the US, which I think we all stand for.
