aspiesmom, as you've seen in this thread, these people would rather let their children go hungry than criticize an anti-worker business decision. They will never step up for their own rights.

In January, they criticized Obama for his bad manners when he spoke out at the State of the Union address.

All you people jeering at the Target video, maybe you don't understand how catastrophic the Citizens United ruling really was, FOR YOU.

I didn't watch the OP video at first, because the title of it and of the song is really flawed. Target IS "people" and so are all corps. So right from the get-go it's kind of a fail.

Especially here!

The real topic of this thread is FOR AMERICAN VOTERS by keeping elections clean from special interests' overt unlimited monetary contributions to effect the outcome of elections ( regardless of what the Supreme Court recently "ruled".)

What has happened by SCOTUS is a travesty of the Constitution's true meaning and spirit.

One proposal to bring back Constitutional elections for WE THE PEOPLE is the Fair Elections Now Act:

About the Bill | Fair Elections Now

Statements from Sponsors

“Americans would be shocked if they knew how much time Members of Congress and candidates seeking office must spend dialing for dollars and attending fundraisers. Without a fundamental reform of the way we finance campaigns, we cannot bring real reform to Capitol Hill. Our bipartisan bill will give candidates the opportunity to focus on dealing with our nation’s problems and not chasing after campaign cash.”
-Asst. Sen. Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-Ill.)

“States across the country, including my home state of Connecticut, have acted as laboratories for reforms like the Fair Elections Now Act. States have shown overwhelming success in taking the influence of big donors out of their legislative process and allowing lawmakers to get back to the people’s business rather than spending their time dialing for cash. Now it is time to bring this kind of real change to Washington. President Obama showed us all how small donations and average Americans can make a difference in an election. With the Fair Elections Now Act we can bring that sort of grassroots enthusiasm and involvement to our Congressional races.”
-House Democratic Caucus Chairman John Larson (D-Conn.)

“It’s time to return government to the people. And the first step is for Congress to debate legislation like the Fair Elections Now Act, which would help ensure that the average citizen has a voice.”
-Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C.)

Apologize for my first post here, which I made before I'd read the whole thread.

The people in that video are idiots who are easily led by the nose by their leftist masters. I will not only continue to shop at Target I will try to shop more often. What the OP doesn't get is that most Americans disagree with these types of tactics and strongly support the business suffering from crazed activist protests. Epic fail.

Clearly this video with these "tactics" (peaceful demonstration) is reaching a broad spectrum of Americans, getting the word out virally to protect each and every American voter's rights! The last time I checked, every voter is an American natural person with Constitutional rights, not a fictitious "personhood".

If the same information was presented to you in a different form, might you find you agree with the message?

Right. It reached me and affected me the way I described; the opposite of its intended effect. Most Americans will react the same way. Sorry but you leftwing extremists are small in number in spite of your online circle jerks. You rub normal people the wrong way.
