Oh my. Is this something the federal government should be doing? Threatening businesses who don't parrot the WH propaganda and who RIGHTFULLY blame obama's ill-conceived, partisan, massive piece of a waste of $2.5 Trillion bill?

U.S. Rebukes Health Insurers - WSJ.com

Quote:
The Obama administration on Thursday told health insurers that it will track those who enact "unjustified" rate increases linked to the health overhaul and may block those companies from a new marketplace for insurance coverage.

Ms. Sebelius said some insurers were notifying enrollees that their insurance premiums will increase next year as a result of the law's new benefits.
True, you nasty hag.

This is truly unprecedented, well, if the goal is to eliminate private health care, which IS the stated goal of obama, maybe not.

Repeal is rolling.

Isn't this EXACTLY WHY you don't want the government running things? They can pick and choose, based on who tows the line and who doesn't, who they will destroy.

Yep, more Obamacago thuggery. Rule with an iron fist; govern? meh....not so much.

Didn't he (justice dept.) place a gag order on Humana leading up to the health care debate? This is just more of the same.

A government big enough to give you anything ('free' health care) is powerful enough to take everything.

The plan is to make private insurance companies keep rates so low they would lose money and thus either make them go out of business or make them drop people, both of which will swell the role of the government-insured. "Wither on the vine" approach.

You guys are acting like health insurance companies are innocent victims now? Question, have you dealt with health insurance companies before? The only thing worse than dealing with them is not having health insurance at all.

Obama is saying they can no longer raise rates for the hell of it, and this is a bad thing? idgi?

Actually, I work for an insurance company. When we raise rates we have to justify it to the state and kill a few trees to provide the documentation for it.

There is no reason for the feds to put yet more regulation on this--other than it being a power grab.

Covering expenses estimated as a result of Obamacare is not "for the hell of it". Get a clue.

As for paying for services rendered at the time of service rather than the availability of any health insurance: OK! We used to do that in this country. I'd vote for that as long as it is the same across the board for every American citizen and illegal alien alike.
