Good Lord, this would go over like Balls Marie in the US!!! All but the most easy going liberals would march to DC armed and demanding to get paid!!

Actually, I find what the UK is proposing one of the best catalysts for an underground economy. A new breed of economic stimulus, if you will.

I think the 99 weeks of unemployment has caused the underground economy to mushroom already. The UK thing is astounding...some people really do believe the money belongs to the government, and we can have the leftovers.
