I'm seeing a lot of personal attacks, and people questioning Christine Odonnell's intelligence.

We all saw--and continue to see--the same type of stuff about Palin.

what I wonder is...why do people go after conservative women so harshly but ignore complete dingbats like Pelosi, or Janet Napolitano, or Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, etc?

Questions about a candidate's intelligence shouldn't be a part of how one goes about evaluating a candidate for public office?

Perhaps they should be. But if they are, why do the same people rip into Odonnell and support Pelosi? I honestly know very little about Odonnell...never heard her speak, but I'd be willing to bet that any nitwit would come across as being more intelligent than Pelosi. I know that Palin would probably mop the floor with her in a real debate.

As a democrat myself I considered the attacks on Christine Odonnell completely vicious and uncalled for. She can believe whatever she wants about sexuality, she is entitled to that. Calling her the “anti masturbation” candidate is completely stupid and does not mean anything. I for one think self control is important.
Now with Palin, that’s different. I think for a person that still has a lot to learn, she comes across as a little bit arrogant.
And, are you for real? Pelosi goes unnoticed? Wow, you haven’t watch Fox lately. Beck once mentioned he would like to poison her. I’ve heard Limbaugh and Hannity just saying the most derogatory gender comments about her.

I don't think you can question the intellect of Pelosi, Napolitano, Boxer, or Feinstein. You may not agree with their opinions, or like their personalities. Palin and O'Donnell have made some really wacky statements that does draw attention to their intelligence. As for why people are so outspoken about them, well I for one do not want Palin or O'Donnell making any decisions on my behalf. At least I think O'Donnell is sincere, even if she is batty as a fruit cake. Palin is insincere, and I have no idea what she truly believes. Her beliefs sway depending on the source of the check.

Thanks for the insight on Odonnell and Palin.

I'm talking about the lefties' view on Pelosi. The same people that criticize conservative women and call them idiots are pretty much silent on the less than intelligent moonbats.

Do a search here on C-D and I promise that you will find plenty of threads with people harping on about Pelosi, Napolitano, etc.

I don't think Pelosi is unintelligent, but she does suffer from foot-in-mouth disease.
