I believe he ruined his chances when he chose Sarah Palin for Vice President, while, yes, I do like her, and I am sure she is capable of a great many things, I was a bit concerned that if in the event McCain passed away, she will become our President.

I would like to have lunch with her, maybe discuss a book, see a move with her, a debate with her, yes But would I like to have her for the President of my Country. No, truth is, I would not.

actually mccain had his best shot when he picked palin for his running mate. at the time mccain was sinking in the polls, and his campaign was essentially going no where. when he selected palin, his poll numbers jumped, his campaign was energized, and he made a good run at obama, until the fiscal crunch hit and mccain supported loudly the tarp bill. i think if mccain had gone to congress and tried his best to kill the tarp bill, then very likely he might have been our 44th president, rather than obama.

Sarah was his only chance to win, and his handlers did all they could to keep her from going out to do any good. But what could you expect from a rino and his aides? Yes, if he would have denounced the tarp, he would have won, but unlike oscuma, he shouted we gotta do it while oscuma was smart enough to say nothing and then vote for it. I know at least a dozen people who didn't vote for either one over that fraud tarp.

Sarah is the ONLY reason I voted for mccain! With the hope he'd kick the bucket soon after. Might be bad reasons, but lets face it, you have to be a fool to think obama was going to be good for the country, and while mccain wouldn't have been great, he would have been slightly better!!! And yeah, I'd much rather look at Sarah !!!! The 2 guys couldn't be any uglier!
