Obama Is in the Jaws of Political Death: Can He Survive? - TIME

"Throughout the year, we have been treated to Obama-led attacks on George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, Congressman Joe Barton (for his odd apology to BP), John Boehner (for seeking the speakership — or was it something about an ant?) and Fox News (for everything). Suitable Democratic targets in some cases, perhaps, but not worth the time of a busy Commander in Chief. In the past few days, we have witnessed the spectacle of the President himself and his top advisers wading into allegations that Republicans are attempting to buy the election using foreign money laundered through the Chamber of Commerce, combining with Karl Rove and his wealthy backers to fund a flood of negative television commercials. Not only is this issue convoluted and far-fetched, but it also distracts from the issues voters care about, frustrating political insiders and alienating struggling citizens (not that many are following such an offbeat story line). Feinting and gibing can't obscure those job numbers"

Even Time is conceding he is a light weight.

Obama is a lightweight and is taking far too much crap from the right and reach across the isle we all know was a complete failure. I hope he picks himself up and launches an all out assault on the right, or else he will be a 1 term president.

Would you loke to give us some details about "reaching across the aisle".

Don't forget to include all the congressional meetings the reups were locked out of.

Anything to distract from the jobs numbers. Almost TWO YEARS in office, and jobs numbers are dismal, with no hope of improvement. Obama is simply in over his head.

LOL, I guess you didn't read my link. It is precisely his pugnaciousness that makes him a lightweight. He is lashing out in all directions looking for a scapegoat for his failures. I hope he takes your suggestion it will ensure 1 term status.

Default Finally, everyone is starting to agree...

..... that we have mental boy trying to do a man's job. I've been saying this for almost two years. Our Community Organizer is just not qualified and he has surrounded himself with a staff that does not understand the real world and many have never had a real job.

This article is quite interesting;

[LEFT]"Barack Obama is being politically crushed in a vise. From above, by elite opinion about his competence. From below, by mass anger and anxiety over unemployment. And it is too late for him to do anything about this predicament until after November's elections.

With the exception of core Obama Administration loyalists, most politically engaged elites have reached the same conclusions: the White House is in over its head, isolated, insular, arrogant and clueless about how to get along with or persuade members of Congress, the media, the business community or working-class voters."

He doesn't have to lash out. The fact is that the republicans did whatever they could to block everything. They didn't even want to work towards a goal. The republicans acted like a bunch of 14 year olds. They are still acting like a bunch of 14 year olds.

It's like watching the Crips or Bloods trying to run the country. Oblabla has now officially become the liar-in-chief with the lies about the US Chamber of Commerce accepting foreign donations. Oblabla and his handlers are running a criminal enterprise.

Well, we've seen him bowl and seen him on a bicycle. Doubtful there will be any kind of "assault"...unless he has his political hacks and thugs do it for him. But, uh oh...they are all leaving!!

Honestly...I called it 2 years ago. I said he was the next Jimminy Carter. He is setting up to kill the democrat party and hopefully the political spectrum is going to swing hard right. People are starting to see what happens when they vote socialist.
