I look at reputation vs. post count to determine who is a light weight. I know, seems weird, but if you see someone with 20,000 posts and 100 rep, it's like... a whole lot of people think you are either wrong, really wrong, or totally nuts. They don't identify with you.

Reading the article now..... lets see what it says.. be back soon.

Edit.

Two paragraphs before the one you linked.

Most of Obama's private (and sometimes public) rebuttals to the voices slamming him on all sides are justified or spot on. He did inherit a lot of problems from the Bush Administration. He did act quickly in the initial weeks of his Administration to stave off a worldwide depression. His efforts at job creation have been obstructed by Republicans (even the proposals based on policies supported by the GOP in the past). His opponents haven't put forth specifics of their own, nor offered genuine compromise, while the media have allowed the right's activists and gabbers to run wild with criticism without furnishing legitimate alternative solutions

The republicans did and are doing what they can to stop this insane child from further ruining America. You don't join hands to mutually destroy a nation, pando.

The republicans didn't do anything but throw a tantrum and one that they are continuing to do as we speak. But the most beautiful thing to witness is the amount of propaganda that they have invested in that is backfiring.

But don't kid yourself, I have some choice words for the democrats as well.

He isn't ruining the nation. You are a part of the paranoid crowd.

It isn't that interesting. I just read it. We are not all agreeing. It is like if you repeat it enough it makes it so. It doesn't.

The author, Mark Halperin has previously stated:

That McCain "won the week" during the 2008 campaign when the economic crisis really hit the fan.

Hillary would win against Obama.

When McCain couldn't remember how many houses he owned, Halperin said that was a "excellent news" for McCain.

Before the 2006 Congressional elections, he predicted Bush's coattails would benefit the Republicans and that Bush's ratings would rise to 53%. Instead, the Democrats gained control of both House and Senate, and Bush's ratings stayed where they were, in the 30's.

Clearly, an astute political analyst!

The dems have a filibuster proof majority, the Republicans can only block things if Dems join them.

They have gone out of their way to not read and to block. Are you telling me that they aren't?

Let me repeat: The dems have a filibuster proof majority, the Republicans can only block things if Dems join them.

The dems can't shift blame here. They control congress and the presidency.

You only need 41 for a fillibuster.

Now, answer the question. Are you telling me that this is something that they haven't been doing?
