LOL...I notice it got quiet in here after the ^^^^^^ above post! Even die-hard liberals have trouble with Nancy's economic philosophy! I'm sure someone will come along and try to justify her words though.
Sure didnt, that's why not a single link or ounce of proof has been posted. Just the ignorant fools going oooga-boooga over another lie they think is the truth.
“It is the biggest bang for the buck when you do food stamps and unemployment insurance. The biggest bang for the buck,”-Nancy Pelosi (The Welfare Party)

Sadly she did. It took me all of 30 seconds to find this.
"At a press conference in her home town of San Francisco, Pelosi explained that the program's multiplier effect –the amount of money generated in the local economy as the result of the subsidy– far exceeds the nearly $60 billion spent this year by the federal government and is a sure-fire way to stimulate the economy."
Idiots like Pelosi, Krugman, et al. have this "Goldilocks" approach to the witchcraft potion mixing that is neo-Keynesian economics. It can't be too little, it can't be too much...it has to be just right. Krugman feels the same way about stimulus. It has be ginormous, but it can't be too ginormous or else you'll have hyperinflation. Since they speak in vague terms, they can always claim it was too little or too much after the fact.
This is the thinking that got us where we are now.
Do you need more proof Pelosi is an idiot!
She is the House leader, so her followers must be smarter than her, right?
If this is the Progressive direction they wish to go, we are doomed as a free nation.
