If it is discovered that Texas did indeed execute an innocent man (and science points to this man's innocence) will the dialogue on capital punishment in the US, and especially Texas, begin to change? Hopefully no other state will risk executing an innocent man.
I'm pretty sue he isn't the first but I could be wrong, I know many have been released because of DNA evidence that exonerated them. I've always been advocate for the death penalty and still am but I think a moratorium is definitely needed until they can determine how to absolutely insure they are executing the right person... not even sure that is possible... in any event, guilty? Give me the switch.
