It's called a preemptive strike. OK is just ahead of it's time. A lot of other states may someday wish they had followed them.

They are playing the same kind of games with illegal aliens and darned few of them have tried to settle in Oklahoma. Maybe this is what other states should do to avoid having Sharia law sneaked in on them.

It is pathetic that radical Muslim immigrants bring this part of their culture with them to the USA and force such action. Personal accountability, don't blame the states, blame those who have failed to assimilate. Don't like it, don't live in Oklahoma. I wish my state would similarly take a firm stance against Sharia.
