Four Loko Drops Caffeine From Alcoholic Drink - FoxNews.com

Goodbye, Caffeine and alcoholic drinks with Caffeine in them.
Goodbye, forever. Thank you, government, for keeping us safe from harm.

Can Flaming Dr. Peppers be far behind?

They should just outlaw energy drinks and booze - one or the other - just to be sure THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.

I used to live in Georgia. Wearing seat belts wasn't enforced. Then they came up with Click it or Ticket. A program that saves lives and forces you to comply, or else. Feeling outraged yet? "No, 70Ford. That's a good thing. Wearing seat belts save lives, you moron."

National health care is a program that saves lives and forces you to comply, or else. Feeling oputraged yet? "Hell, YEAH!!! 70Ford!!! No one's going to force me to participate and be forced to comply!!!!" THIS IS AN OUTRAGE.

And that, my friend, is hilarious.

The fascist philosophy behind “Click it or Ticket” | Truth, Justice, and the American Way

The premise behind these programs is that individuals are property of the state, to be organized and shepherded for the “common good.” Virtually everything we do today is regulated by government regulations that replace our judgment with politically-mandated notions of what risks we are and are not allowed to take

God made men Sam Colt made them equal. 100 years ago I would have told you I don't need anyone to keep me safe. But in a world with ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons it's the government's job to keep the population safe. Unfortunately we are trading liberty for safety more often than not. And the safety we get is usually in the police state against its own people. The border to the south is still wide open and one of the most lawless, ruthless, violent places in the world. So we really don't seem to be getting our money's worth.

it is about government control of out lives. The Government want to control every aspect. If the products are legal products the government needs to stay out of our life

America is a very socialist place in many ways, and has been for a long time.

When I see people complain about how socialist Obama is I gotta laugh to myself. The USA has been very, very socialist for decades.

As a Liberal I see this government regulation as a method to make everybody beholding to the Fascist state. The very idea that an individual should be responsible for their own safety is anathema to these people because the responsibility to defend your self can lead to wondering who the real enemy is.

As a Liberal I believe there should be a little restriction on individual behavior as possible. Any adult should not be restricted by limiting what they eat, drink, inject, ride, drive or otherwise do to amuse themselves. They should be held responsible for any damage they do to others. I do not believe I have the right to force someone to stop using opiates or alcohol but I do believe I have the right to leave them to their fate. Freedom of this nature is not for the sentimental.

I believe that if there is a direct threat to my safety by other individuals or groups I not only have the right to use violence (firearms) to stop the threat but I have the duty to do so. I should be protected from retaliation for defending myself because Law is cheaper than vendettas. The government has, supposedly, taken on the responsibility of protecting me and everyone else from nuclear annilation. I believe they will actually try because they are also threatened and it is very difficult to make money when your investments are smoking ruins. In this case the super wealthy are in the same boat with the poor.
