What has been destroying the church is sexual abuse by priests, the deliberate covering up of this abuse by the church hierarchy and the continuing attempts by the Vatican to pervert the course of justice in various countries. You can blame liberals but it is the very conservative hierarchy from the top down that is responsible.

You must agree that the majority of gays are liberal and nearly all that sexual abuse came at the hands of gay priests. Liberalism is what is detroying the church.

Not gay priests, pedophile priests. Pedophiles are not usually gay. And covered up by the Catholic hierarchy. Are they all gay too?

IRS is an evil invention of scheming greedy white men. Jesus Christ had nothing to do with it.

Who would have guessed the liberal candidate would have been from Arizona and the conservative candidate would have been from NY? Looks like the NYT media was also in a lib bubble when this "surpise move" happened.
The Roman Catholic Church as a whole is moving in a more conservative direction.

Somebody said here why can't a liberal be a Christian? Moral relativism, equality, non-discrimination, multiculturalism and other liberal ideals. That's not to say be a conservative at all times but that moderate theological conservatives on average tend to make better Christians. It's good not to think that Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Atheism, Agnosticism and others are somehow all the same. And plenty of other examples.
