The power of media.
With 70% of the GDP based on consumption (buying CRAP) you wonder why Black Friday sales now start the first week of November ? You wonder why Black Friday started on Thursday ?
You wonder why Christmas stuff goes up in the stores October 15 and Thanksgiving is nowhere to be found ?

These are the people that believe what they see on TV and read in newspapers.
These are the people that think if they are not the first ones there they are missing out big time on something.
These are the people that will trample you for $10 off.

These are the very people to be scared of if this economy sinks too much lower and we really get in trouble. This is when you want to be far, far away from the big cities.
