Interesting....Perhaps you can let us all know what the fine was for not providing insurance before Obamacare was wrangled through using reconciliation.
Now....I'm not an expert on business but wouldn't you think that being forced to pay a fine might cause businesses to second guess on new hires? What would that be? Right- a job killer.
Solution! Have Universal Healthcare. Then businesses have even less expenses and will hire even more!!! After all, if hiring is all about businesses expenses, we can take a load off of the businesses by no longer burdening them with the expense of providing healthcare for their employees.
Gee, wouldn't it have beenimpressive if the Republicans instead of voting to repeal Obamacare had voted to for a replacement plan of their own
After all, all through the healthcare debate the Republicans assured us that they had some pretty good ideas on how to "reform" the healthcare system.
Do we get better ideas on how to insure that individuals with pre-existing conditions could not be denied insurance?
Did we see a proposal on how keep insurance companies from:
removing lifetime dollar limits on essential benefits,
giving people a right to appeal to an external party if denied coverage for a treatment,
preventing insurers from dropping coverage of people when they get sick.
limiting the use of annual spending limits of health plans,
allowing consumers to use ob-gyns in their networks without needing a referral,
prohibiting extra charges for using emergency care that is out of network,
guaranteeing full coverage of many preventive services, such as mammograms and colonoscopies, without a co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible
all of which went into effect on the same day, the Republicans "repealed Obamacare?
And most importantly considering the audacious statement that Obamacare denies individuals free choice, where was the Republican proposal to allow patients to carry their coverage to any doctor they want instead of just those enrolled in the insurer's plan?
No, the Republicans offered nothing, no reforms, no changes, no protections, just the same old NO the Republicans always seem to offer these days.
Oh well, the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Reality! Obamacare is not universal healthcare. So, as it stands today the reality is that we're stuck with is this disaster and it is a job killer. How much more of a flogging will you need to take in this debate before you admit that?

Do you agree that Universal Healthcare in America would take a financial burden off of businesses and corporations since they no longer would need to pay $$$ for their employees healthcare and thus would promote more hiring and creation of jobs?
An accompanying resolution instructs relevant committees on how to replace the bill with twelve suggestions. Here are numbers 2-6:
(2) lower health care premiums through increased competition and choice;
(3) preserve a patient’s ability to keep his or her health plan if he or she likes it;
(4) provide people with pre-existing conditions access to affordable health coverage;
(5) reform the medical liability system to reduce unnecessary and wasteful health care spending;
(6) increase the number of insured Americans;
They forgot one thing; How they plan to accomplish these things.
