Can I second this in support? I dont' live in the 8th district, but I do live in Maricopa County (Phx area). Believe what desertdetroiter says.

And it doesn't even matter. Anyone who has spent five years in this state is going to have a better frame of reference that someone in SC.
I would NEVER presume to talk about anything in SC, as I have no knowledge of your area - its people, its politics, etc. I'd keep my mouth shut and read posts and research.

Your post does not make sense. No, not innocent..inflammatory is more like it. If a politician has nothing to offer a potential voter besides rhetoric and words that can possibly ignite a mentaly ill person, then the said candidate is not fit to run for office or govern. Here in NY we had crazy man Paladino use these tactics when running for Governor, which made it obvious that he was a bag of hot air and hot tempered and not much else. We kicked him to the curb quickly enough.
