Yes they save big time on operating costs and if they were such a great employer you would think that savings would be somehow reflected in the salaries they pay their people, nope not there. Everytime I see a Walmart I see plenty of businesses near it. And there are tons of local businesses in those areas also. And Wal Mart cannot force anyone out of business. They can't do it. It is impossible.
Does McDonalds put local restaraunts out? Does Starbucks put local coffee shops out? Did Sears put other retailers out? Did KMart? Does Target? But lets only blame Wal Mart? LOLs.
Maybe instead of sitiing around and whining some of these businesses should become more efficient. Then they can stay in business. Companies go out of business because they are inefficient in one way or another. If Wal Mart has put anyone out of business we should be grateful. Why do we want to reward bad businesses with our money?
My point is no one cares when GM made half of all new car sales in the United Sales. But we are supposed to be in an uproar because Wal Mart has somwhere between 5-10% of retail sales? LOLs.
Those emplyees should quit. If they aren't happy with working conditions then they will quit. Believe it or not, they have options. 99% of all employees in this country don't work for Wal Mart. There is no reason to think current employees couldn't work elsewhere. People work where they want.
Wal Mart doesn't do anything different in their practices than any other business. The only reason people don't like Wal Mart is becasue they are non union. And they have 1.6 million people that the greedy union bosses want to steal money from.

And the Chinese government is benevolent and does not murder people for no reason. Obama could not obviously call China on the carpet for human rights abuses but he didn't have to stick his head up the derriere of China because they own our debt.
