The book removes all mention of the Japanese military’s use of Chinese and Korean women as sex slaves, plays down the death toll of the 1937 Nanjing Massacre in China and simplifies descriptions of Chinese and Korean workers being forcibly shipped to Japan during the Second World War.
At each moment of the three epochs examined here, the nation faced political struggles for power and shifting international geopolitics, which were reflective of sea changes in the world order: the early Cold War (the first attack), regional detente and peace in Asia (the second wave), and the post-Cold War and the beginning of a new world order (the last and continuing controversy). Japan was in the early stage of rapid economic growth in 1955, at the point of achieving economic maturity and external expansion in the late 1970s and 1980s, and facing recession and slow recovery in the 1990s to the present.

This Asian kid holding up his Asian textbook talking about his Asian New World order theory is amazing.
Except he's not Asian, it's written in English and it looks like something someone threw together in a few minutes. Looked like some kid was bitching about school rules.
I liked his phone comment. They don't want you to have phones. Do you want the guy in the locker room next to you taking a picture of your butt and putting it on facebook? Heh. Kids can be mean.
