"Those that are attending the conference believe that everyone benefits from the prosperity that emerges from free societies," Pfotenhauer said. "This gathering is meant to discuss strategies for promoting policies that will help grow our economy, foster free enterprise and create American jobs."
Yep, sounds downright EVIL. Oh, the horrors of discussing ways to grow our economy!!!
I don't know why, but i assumed Eric Cantor was a sharp guy....and i did it based on some stupid assumptions that i won't go into here, but i was clearly wrong.
I've been watching some of his interviews over the last year, and he's clearly a hack. He can't even answer a simple question without casing it in politics. The Repubs have far more capable and smarter guys than this. He's overly dramatic, silly, petty, and wishy-washy. How the hell he could be in that position over Mike Pence (a VERY impressive guy and who should be the Speaker IMO) or maybe a guy like Fred Upton from Michigan.
When the Republican’s masters go shopping for marionettes and puppets, they customarily and always usually search for ones that are either good looking, silly, naive, etc, e.g. Cantor/Palin.
[LEFT]"Despite the hyperbole, the Koch conference doesn’t sound so different from many off-the-record political conferences, including those held by the professional left. Michael Vachon, a George Soros representative, Peter Lewis, CEO of Progressive Insurance; and Fred Baron, the former president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America also attended."
