I hope that you realize that "Freedom" is a liberal policy. Ever hear of a little word, "Liberty". The right has been and always will be against freedom for the average man. Do you know why they are called "The right"? I doubt that you do. Well in parliment they sat to the right of the King and always supported the forces of reaction, always supported the rights of the nobility against the asperations of the people. The rights of property always trumped human rights.

So you claim that liberal policies have and always will fail the USA?????
Where have you been living for the last 234 years? Must have been under a rock somewhere out in the middle of Wyoming or something.

Here are some liberal policies that you either don't realize are liberal or just choose to ignore.
Transportation: The government development of all types of transport systems. The interstate system, Airports and shipping ports. I hope that you know that the public ownership of these things is a LIBERAL idea. Opposed to that you have the right wing idea that all these things should be privately owned.

Workers rights and employers responsibilities. Without a measure of liberalism in this area your country would be just like China.
Workmans compensation, saftey laws, child labour laws, Minimum wage laws, these are all liberal in nature and in fact.

All government pensions, old age pensions, disability support, public education, and on and on.

Everything that is good and equitable about the USA is the result of liberal thinking and policy.

The right wing is all about protecting the exalted position of the top 5% of the people in the country and anyone who believes different is the worst kind of dupe or ignoramus.

Absolutely well said and is not even debatable.

It is a well established fact that those who claim to be "liberal" are not liberal, and those who claim to be "progressive" are not progressive. Anti-American Leftists like to highjack the language and pretend to be something they are not.

"Liberal" in today's parlance means a fiscally irresponsible "tax and spend" Democrat. And those who claim to be "progressive" are leftist fascists who are anti-life, anti-liberty, anti-pursuit of hapiness, and anti-US Constitution, that dismiss everyone who disagrees with them as "stupid" or "ignorant." Hardly a true "progressive." Pelosi and Reid are classic examples of leftist fascists pretending to be "progressive."

Even in the 08 election, as people began to learn how ignorant she is, they turned on McCain in droves. If McCain hadn't been forced to pick her to fill a gender quota and could have rather chosen his top pick of Lieberman, we may well be looking at a different president. Probably not, though, since he also pandered to the far right and lost the backbone that made him so popular to begin with.

As primary contests heat up, I think you'll see more Republicans calling her for what she is. It's already started to happen.
I would have voted for McCain if it was the old moderate McCain with a decent, moderate VP pick. There were lots of last straws with me for the Bush administration, but she was the part of the puzzle that kicked everything over the top.

There's nothing factual in this statement. It's just ambiguous talk radio talking points with a few flashpoint people and catch words thrown in.

The person to whom you replied listed enduring factual evidence. You were owned in that debate.

Excellent post and very factual. There is a reason the Left, in all it's various machinations can't be honest about what they intend to do regarding a governing agenda.

Palin has a history of attack. She is not articulate so stays in defensive mode all the time. Notice she never goes on any other shows except Greta or Hannity. she is afraid of O'reilly because he might ask her a serious question that she may not know how to answer and she definitly won't go on CNN. McCain chief advisor was quoted saying Palin knew absolutely nothing, and she had a hard time retaing the information being taught to her.

Some FACTS for you. She made her Fox debut as a consultant on Oreilley, she's been on his show numerous times and there might be a little itty, bitty reason she doesn't go on CNN - she works for Fox.

When even Ruth Marcus (big lib/big obama fan) is saying WTF, you know it was just more of the same tripe he's been spewing for 2 years now.
