Yep, my former stepdad went probably 7 years without filing.

His reasoning was that paying for a family of 4 on 45,000 dollars and having to pay income tax was to much.

Yes, two of them are working in Afghanistan to pay the taxes, interest, and penalties.

My husband used to work with a guy who didn't pay his taxes for 7 years because he just didn't believe in paying them. He ended up having his house taken away and serving some time in jail. Lost his job and the respect of everyone who knew him.

No i personally know no one who is not responsbile enough to pay their taxes. We are all in the same bolt, we work to what pay taxes. There are some who break the law and don't pay taxes, but this is really not fair, to all of us who do. I do know some who are barely making it, but still pay their taxes, none of us are above the law? or are some of us.

The Founding Fathers would come back and stage another Revolution if they could see how their worst nightmare--a huge Federal Government that confiscates a large amount of the citizens' incomes--has come to pass and will only get worse.
