Every US president since Bush 41 has done his best to subsidize China's tyrannical communist rule
China has not achieved communism.
It has only achieved socialism.
What makes you think that any president, since FDR was not pro-socialism?
Since 1935, the USA has been the United Socialist States of America.
Do not believe me - write a polite letter to 'your' congresscritter and ask:
1. What law compels all Americans to enroll into FICA before they can work in their own country?
2. What law punishes any American who does not enroll nor participates in FICA?
3. If participation in FICA is 100% voluntary, how can the people volunteer out?
4. If 51% leave FICA, and thus cease underwriting the worthless Federal Reserve note (see: Title 12 USC sec. 411), will that collapse the dollar bill?
5. Without enough "contributors" (via FICA) will the socialist system of "share the wealth" immediately implode?
In case you don't get an answer:

NO, the Chinese people will not copy the Egyptian / Islamic revolt.
BUT, I wouldn't be surprised by the USSA having a "revolution".
Why else would the government of the USSA drive it into economic collapse?
So that the People's Democratic Socialist Republic of America can arise - sans that pesky USCON.
It would be interesting as hell if the Chinese people stood up to their government. But then again, their government would kill them. Of course, our's would too if given the chance. Anywho, do you ever see this happening in China?
BTW, Anderson Cooper is a drama queen.
This country stood by and did nothing to support democracy in China when peaceful protestors were run over with tanks in Tiananmen Square.
Since then we gave China most favored nation trade status, allowed them to become our banker, and threw a state dinner for their leader who holds the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner under arrest for attempting to further democracy in China.
What makes you think the Chinese government would be the only ones to crush it? Certain Americans, westerners and corporations might not want their money tree uprooted. For some who do live with democracy and freedom are only worthy goals when it is in the special interests of themself.

Most people in China, don't even believe Tienanmen Sq. even happened.
Who know how many of the leaders are either dead or in prison from that protest.This can be a very dangerous thing and to encourage when sitting here safely.
The Chinese people have opportunity to better their lives, the Egyptian people do not. The Chinese people will not rise up until that opportunity goes away.
They roseup when it was a growing econmy before. It really depends on the opportuntiy of successs. It might be that the vacuum here would be something much worse which is often the case. I am sure their are grops just wait for the opportuntiy to move in.
The next time the Chinese will revolt will be in 15-20 years when they have tens of millions of young men who can't find wives due to the cultureal preference for male children and China's one child policy that has been in effect for decades.
So how does this happen exactly? Does it start at some bar full of men who are in their 30s without wives, and somehow the call goes out that other men who haven't found wives all meet at Beijing to demonstrate and demand the government produce some wives for them or they won't leave the square?
I wonder if natural selection in mating up would be evident in this riot, like would it be human waves of China's shortest, ugliest, gap toothed, low salaried and low education men running amok thru large cities?
If he did it would be quite the spectacle, as tens of thousand file past the Mao Weekend-At-Bernies tribute every day in Tiananmen Square. If he rolled over when I was passing by I'd be the first one running out thru the gift shop doors to start drinking heavily over on wangfujing.
