ThinkProgress » 10 Things Conservatives Don’t Want You To Know About Ronald Reagan

I found this be an interesting read considering Reagan is the most admired and talked about POTUS amongst todays Conservatives Party... Its almost hypocritical of todays Conservative Party to like Reagan politics when there views are opposite of how Reagan Governed. Conservatives welcome to the Liberal Party after all.

Because only an idiot goes to the opposing party's website and thinks they're going to get "facts". All of that nonsense that they brought up in their expose` has been thoroughly debunked. Just try searching "Reagan" and you'd see that...

Most of the television shows I caught about Reagan this weekend were respectful and all had an almost wistful tone about his presidency. You libs don't like him, but he was a decent, highly principled and well-written man. Everything you wish Obama was.

I find it interesting that for 30 years liberals told us Reagan was dumb and evil and that he intentionally hurt black folk, the gays and poor people. Now they want to claim him as one of theirs.

You know, if what liberals say about Reagan is true, he probably was liberal.

What has been debunked, looked like the facts as I recall the from the time.

I never thought he was anything but at the same time the 10 items listed are true, whether you think they are disrespectful or not does not change that.

But you guys are now trying to equate Obama to Reagan. Which is it, was Reagan bad or good? What do you guys wish to portray your messiah Obama as, good or bad?

I wonder if there's a "Ten things liberals don't want you to know about FDR or Bill Clinton thread as well. Ronnie can't even have a post mortem birthday party without getting someone worked up enough to want to **** on his grave. I think this is a sign of true greatness. Most dead politicians just turn to dust, but Reagan still gets 'em worked up. It's a sign of the times. We should review the competition (Carter, Mondale), the outcome (I lived a lot more comfortably) and the state of the nation (somehow we were able to see the end of the Soviet Union and end a recession) not the Reagan blooper video Keith Olbermann watches nightly, so he can sleep.
