"The left's outrage is self-righteous because it is laser focused on the self."

I have been writing about this since I've been posting to forums. A few on the left have figured it out. Here is what one former leftist writes about the current "outrage" we hear from the left.

That would be laughable if it wasn't so factual. The progressive/liberal mentality is all about me me me.

Another example of some deeply disturbing outrage from a class A nut from the left:

People are motivated by self interest? No way!!! Unbelievable.

Almost everyone is, except the tea party, who are motivated by corporate interests.

First off, I'm not left, but I have to ask the same question--being concerned about issues that impact you personally (or people you know) is wrong now? What about all the tea party people screaming because they don't want their personal taxes to go up, regardless of the impact on others? You've got to be kidding me...

This nut is what our youth today are. They have been to too many raves and swallowed too many Ecstacy pills to even be taken seriously. I would laugh right in this loons face. If I was his boss I'd fire him ASAP too and laugh at him all the way to the UE line.

That's a completely different issue about personal taxes.

But...but...but the lie that the left hangs onto ALL THE TIME is that they are for the collective. I guess that is dead now eh? It was never the case to begin with which was well known anyway.

Oh really? I'd like to hear the explanation on just exactly HOW it's different.

If you stand to gain more from belonging to a group and participating collectively, how is that dead now?????? You can have both you know, cooperation and self interest, something right wingers don't believe in because in their world the only way to be successful is to destroy others.
