I have yet to see ANY government down graded to a different pay grade....(unless it was a "going to jail offense")they may have been moved to a different job...but never lost money....

Ah! I was not 'downgraded' in pay (my bad) but position. I was no longer a supervisor, but I kept my pay grade. Sorry for the confusion.

ones with security clearances won't. they stand to lose too much if they get their clearances yanked.
